A Baxter Springs woman is seriously injured in a mid-morning accident in Cherokee County.
18-year-old Eryn Hosfelt was seriously injured yesterday morning in a single-vehicle crash just west of Riverton. Hosfelt was traveling northbound on Southeast 50th Road around 10:30am when her 1999 Dodge Neon left the roadway for an unknown reason. The vehicle then struck a guardrail.
Hosfelt was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin to receive treatment for her injuries.
