An elderly woman living in a senior apartment building in Hutchinson is rescued by a Postal worker following a fall that left her unable to move.

The woman had fallen in her apartment early last week and was left unable to move while on the floor for three days. On Thursday, letter carrier Misty Hernandez was on her usual mail route, that included the Sentney Lofts Apartments, when she heard a cry for help from inside one of the units. Hernandez was able to get inside the apartment and call for emergency services to provide medical attention for the woman.

Authorities say that without Hernandez’s quick actions, the outcome could have been much worse.
