Police in Dodge City are crediting an anonymous tip for leading to the discovery of a major marijuana distribution operation.

 

A search warrant served on a Dodge City residence earlier this week resulted in the arrest of 39-year-old Sara Myers and 38-year-old Juan Perez Tapia. Two juvenile boys were also arrested in the case. Inside the home, police found over 400 THC vape cartridges, several ounces of THC concentrate, raw marijuana, more than four pounds of marijuana edibles, a small amount of cocaine, ten firearms, and over $1,000 in cash.

 

Myers and Tapia both face multiple counts of aggravated child endangerment. Each is being held on a $100,000 bond. The two juveniles were taken to a juvenile detention facility and face multiple charges, including conspiracy to distribute marijuana, criminal possession of a firearm, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
