A Yates Center man is seriously injured in a single-vehicle accident on a gravel road in rural Woodson County.
21-year-old Brandon Howell was traveling on 130th Road northeast of Yates Center around 1am Wednesday morning when he lost control of his 1998 Ford Mustang. Howell then struck a bridge guardrail, causing his car to roll into the ditch. Howell was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the car when it overturned.
He was taken to the Allen County Regional Hospital in Iola with serious injuries.
