A storm spotter talk will take place tonight in Wilson County.
The Wichita Office of the National Weather Service will present their Storm Fury on the Plains program tonight at 6:30 p.m. at the Altoona Fire Station.
This free talk allows the public to learn more about severe weather, how to send in storm reports and stay safe during storms.
If you can't make tonight's presentation, the program will be presented in Independence next Thursday, April 3rd in Memorial Hall at 6:30 p.m.
The Tulsa Office of the National Weather Service will also put on a spotter talk this Thursday, March 27th at 6:30 in the community center at the fairgrounds in Vinita.
