A northwest Arkansas high school student notches a perfect score the the ACT college entrance exam.
The Fort Smith Public Schools have announced that Cody Goodson – a junior at Northside High School in Fort Smith – earned a perfect score of 36 on the ACT. Goodson also scored a perfect 1500 on the PSAT, a test designed to help students prepare for the SAT and that also qualifies students for National Merit Scholarships.
After graduation from high school in 2026, Goodson says he plans to pursue a degree in astrophysics.
