One person is injured following a house fire in Nevada, MO.
The blaze began just after midnight on Friday morning. When Nevada firefighters arrived on the scene, they found the residential structure fully engulfed in flames. Crews were able to bring the fire under control and extinguish the flames. The home sustained serious damage and one occupant was taken to a nearby hospital with undisclosed injuries.
It is believed the fire was caused by discarded smoking materials inside the home. Fire crews from Deerfield and Milo assisted on the call.
