A Pittsburg teen is in critical condition after being struck by a car while crossing a highway.
Deputies from the Crawford County Sheriff's Office say the 18-year-old woman was attempting to cross K-47 near 190th Street just east of Girard when she was struck by a 2016 Ford Transit. The driver rendered aid to the victim before Crawford County EMS arrived on the scene.
The victim was taken to the Girard Medical Center before being transferred via Med-Flight to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.
The driver of the car has not been identified and the Crawford County Sheriff's Office says there was no signs of impairment.
