Independence Police arrest a Cherryvale man on outstanding warrants.
On Tuesday afternoon, officers from the Independence Police Department identified and located an individual with active warrants from several different jurisdictions. 32-year-old Jordan Marshall was taken into custody just before 2pm near the intersection of 8th and Birch Streets in Independence. Marshall had five outstanding warrants from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office, the Wilson County Sheriff's Office, and the Nowata County Sheriff's Office. He was taken to the Montgomery County Jail in Independence where he faces additional charges of Possession of an Opiate, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Interference with Law Enforcement.
