PPD Officer Named Officer of the Year Again

 

A Parsons Police officer is named Office of the Year for the second time.

 

Sergeant Detective Brice Dickens has been awarded the 2024 Officer of the Year, an honor given to him by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 704. This marks the second time that Sgt. Dickens has received this award, recognizing his dedication, investigative excellence and service to the Parsons community.  

 

The Officer of the Year Award is an honor awarded annually based on nominations from the police department's staff and administration. It honors officers who have demonstrated exceptional performance, leadership, and a positive impact on both the department and the community. Sgt. Dickens' selection this year highlights his commitment to upholding public safety and combating crime in Parsons and the surrounding region.
