FBI Investigates Vandalism at Wichita Catholic Church

The Federal Bureau of Investigation is looking into the recent vandalism of a Catholic Church in Wichita.

The St. Patrick Catholic Church was vandalized on Saturday morning. The Kansas Catholic Conference says the perpetrators forced their way into the building, smashed statues, broke windows, and caused other extensive damage. They also report that a satanic website address was left written on the wall. The Church is located near 19th and Arkansas Streets and serves a largely Latino community.

A 23-year-old Saline County man has been arrested in connection to the case, but his name has not yet been released. The FBI along with the Wichita Police continue to investigate the case.
