It’s Spring Break for many area schools and that means many parents and kids alike will be looking for fun things to do.

Independence Chamber President Lisa Wilson says there are lots of activities around town to keep kids busy this week.

The Independence Historical Museum and Art Center will also be open Tuesday through Saturday this week from 10am to 4pm each day. Admission this week is also free, in celebration of spring break. The museum offers an art collection, intriguing artifacts, and historical exhibits.
