A 77-year-old Harper man is dead following a single-vehicle accident on Saturday.

Ronald Tracy was traveling westbound on K-44 about 6 ½ miles east of Anthony just before noon on Saturday. Tracy’s Freightliner semi reportedly left the roadway causing him to overcorrect. The over-correction caused the truck to roll and come to rest in the ditch. Tracy was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident and was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The Kansas Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
