Red Flag Warning Today

 

A red flag warning is in place once again today for the four states.

 

The warning will be in place from the late morning through 10 p.m. at the latest. Conditions are right for any fires that start to spread very rapidly. Strong north winds will gust between 35 and 40 mph for southeast Kansas and northeast Oklahoma, with slightly stronger winds expected tomorrow. The strongest winds are expected tomorrow night through early Wednesday and could peak around 55 mph. The highest fire weather danger will be between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m. today and 11 to 10 p.m. tomorrow.
