Coffeyville Municipal Light and Power crews are working on power outages caused by the wind storm.

The City says they are aware of the current electric and fiber outage affecting parts of Coffeyville. Their team is actively working to resolve issues affecting the majority of the rural southwest side of town and has notified Evergy of a downed pole on their line West of the Industrial Park.

The City says unfortunately, with the forecast predicting strong winds lasting through most of the evening, restoration efforts may be challenging and pop-up outages may continue to occur. Crews will work as quickly and safely as possible to restore power to everyone.
