Coffeyville residents will have a new bulk trash pick up routine as the city switches trash providers from Republic to Waste Connections.

 

The City of Coffeyville has announced the new bulk item pick up procedures will begin on April 1. The city will now be divided into two sections, the northwest and the southeast. The northwest section - or section 1 - pick up day for bulk items will be the first Friday of each month, while the southeast section – or section 2 - will be picked up on the third Friday of each month.

 

Residents wishing to have bulk items picked up must schedule ahead of time with Waste Connections.

 

How to Schedule Bulk Item Pick-Up:

 

To ensure timely and efficient collection, residents must schedule a bulk item pick-up with Waste Connections prior to their designated pick-up day. Waste Connections will have dedicated staff familiar with Coffeyville’s pick-up areas, ensuring that residents receive personalized, localized service rather than calling into a large call center.

 

• Deadline for requests: All bulk item pick-up requests must be submitted by 4:00 PM the Thursday before the scheduled pick-up day for each section.
• Required Information: When scheduling, residents must provide their name, address, and a description of the bulk items they wish to have collected.
• Item Limit: Households can request up to 4 items per month for collection.
