Crews from Joplin Fire rescue a worker stuck in an elevator between floors at a local industry.

Rescue teams from the Joplin Fire Department were called to the scene at a Joplin industrial facility after reports of a worker trapped in an elevator. Crews initially attempted to recall the elevator but unsuccessful. J-F-D personnel then removed the occupant through the third floor elevator shaft. Crews worked in tandem with emergency response teams from the facility, they were able to use ropes and rigging to safely remove the individual from the elevator.

No one was injured in the incident.
