CV West was showcased during the latest meeting of USD 436, with an open house and biscuit and gravy dinner held during last night's proceedings.
Caney Superintendent Blake Vargas says the renovation is a huge success for the district.
Vargas says progress is being made on classes moving to CV West, including the pending move of the greenhouse. He adds that the maintenance crew is a big reason why all district buildings are able to be constructed and maintained at a lower cost.
Caney FFA and Tech students were on hand to give tours and to plate biscuits and gravy to those in attendance. Vargas says CV West will most likely be the place where the next meeting concerning “The Bond for Everyone” will take place, likely sometime at the end of the month. Officials concerning architecture and finance will be on hand to answer any questions.
