Representatives from the Library of Congress will be in Girard on April 8 to present “A Library for All: Treasures of the Library of Congress.”
The Library of Congress will conduct nine, one-hour-long presentations on a variety of topics at the Girard Public Library. Attendees can pick and choose which sessions they would like to attend. Topics include agricultural history, historical newspapers, genealogy resources from the Library of Congress, and creative works from the New Deal. Sessions will run from 10am through 7pm.
