The USD 445 Board of Education hears the first reading of the potential new grade levels policy.
Superintendent Dr. Craig Correll says they are considering moving the 6th grade to Roosevelt Middle School. Dr. Correll says making the change comes down to the maturity level and the curricular needs of 6th graders.
The second reading will be at the April 14th board meeting. After that reading, the board will vote on the policy. If approved, the new policy will be in effect for the 2026-2027 school year.
