Search efforts for a missing Labette County farmer are called off.

Search and Rescue teams in Labette County have called off the search for 82-year-old Lynn Gregory, who is thought to have been swept into floodwaters along Elm Creek early last week. Gregory was driving a tractor through a low water crossing on Ness Road about 5 miles northeast of Edna on Tuesday. Three days of extensive searching have revealed nothing of the missing man. Searchers will now switch their focus to the area between Hackberry Creek to Grand Lake.

Crews from Parsons Fire, Edna Fire, Labette EMS, and Altamont Police are among those who assisted with the search.
