Labette County Sheriff deputies and Parson Police officers find and arrest an escaped fugitive.

Yesterday, 37-year-old Vincent Steven Janssen Jr. escaped custody at the courthouse in Parsons. He was wanted on multiple felony warrants. Earlier this morning, PPD officers attempted to arrest Janssen in the backyard of a residence in the 3100 block of Crawford. Janssen fled to the north as officers approached.

Officers and Deputies searching the area were given information that Janssen might be hiding at the old Katy Hospital. Jannsen was found hiding behind a security fence at the hospital. He is now back in police custody.
