Authorities in Oklahoma are investigating alleged threats made to two middle schools in Skiatook and Bartlesville yesterday.

Newman Middle School in Skiatook and Madison Middle School in Bartlesville were both placed under a brief lock down yesterday after someone called in threats to both schools. Police in both cities investigated the threats and no danger was discovered. All students were safe, allowing classes to resume as usual.

The events remain under investigation.
