Independence Community College is inviting all area middle school and home school students in 6th through 8th grade to participate in a program for young artists.
The program is called The Painted Story: Self-Portrait/Self-Representation and is designed to give young artists the opportunity to express themselves and showcase their artistic ideas through self-portraits. Participants are encouraged to explore their creativity and create artwork that reflects their personal vision.
All submitted artwork will be on public display on April 22. Artists of all skill levels and experience are invited to participate.
