The Costway Company recalls its Babyjoy High Chair due to the risk of suffocation and entrapment posed by the chair.
The high chairs have been recalled because they were marketed, intended, or designed for infant sleep and do not meet the legal requirements for products outlined by the Safe Sleep for Babies Act. While no injuries have been reported due to the product, the risk to babies still exists. The chair also poses an entrapment hazard because the opening between the chair and tray is large enough that a child may become trapped in it.
The chairs were sold at Walmart and Amazon between November 2022 and November 2024.
