Cleanup efforts are underway after five tornadoes impacted eastern Oklahoma within an hour.
Yesterday morning around 6 a.m., two EF1 tornadoes caused damage to homes, outbuildings and trees in the Henryetta area.
A few minutes later, an EF1 tornado spun up in the Morris area, affecting several homes and also rolling an RV over.
Shortly after that, an EF0 tornado started just east of Morris, causing mainly tree damage. Finally, An EF0 near Checotah caused roof damage to a home and barn along with several power poles.
The National Weather Service's Tulsa office continues to examine the storm damage and may add some additional tornadoes to the list. No injuries were reported in association with yesterday's tornadoes.
As Severe Weather Preparedness week continues, yesterday's storms serve as a reminder of tornado safety, which is today's highlight.
