Kansas Senator Jerry Moran is met by protesters on the campus of Wichita State University.

 

Moran was in Wichita yesterday to give a tour of the city to the CEO of Northrop Grumman Kathy Warden. His group was met by about a hundred protesters that had gathered on the school's main campus.

 

As the state's senior U.S. Senator, Moran is known for holding frequent town hall meetings with constituents. He says Monday's protests will not change that.

 

The protests came just days after the state's other U.S. Senator Roger Marshall cut short a town hall meeting in Oakley after facing an angry crowd.
