Coffeyville residents will be happy to hear the latest update on the South Buckeye from Montgomery County.

At this week's commission meeting, Public Works Director Brandon Beurskins gave his quarterly report. Beurskins says the Buckeye Project is expected to be complete by the end of this month.

The project has faced several setbacks that have pushed back the completion date from the original 100 working days. Weather-permitting, the project should be finished and the road re-opened in the next three to four weeks.
