An inmate at the Hutchinson Correctional Facility is found dead in his cell.

 

57-year-old Lamoine Weibe was found unresponsive in his cell on Saturday morning.  Staff attempted life-saving measures but were unable to revive Weibe. Wiebe was serving a 19-year sentence for one conviction of voluntary manslaughter in Harvey County.

 

The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has been called in to investigate the death pending the results of an autopsy.
