The Neodesha City Commission is set to move forward on a major project on Granby Street.
The project would involve Granby Street from US-400 to 8th Street. Garrett Nordstrom with Governmental Assistance Services says it's a major project that would also have assistance from Wilson County.
Another part of the funding would come from a CDBG grant for job retention at Cobalt Boats since part of the project would fix an issue with an entrance to the Cobalt facility. Mayor Devin Johnson says the complete project will be a benefit for the entire community.
The commission voted unanimously to approve a contract with Western Associates to be the grant administrator for the Granby project.
