The Sunflower Skies solar project vote has been tabled again, this time for six weeks so the commission can discuss further information.

 

The commissioners reached the decision to delay the vote to the April 16th commission meeting after an executive session with County Attorney Brandon Cameron regarding legal consultation. Cameron says one of the items to discuss is a plan for potential flood damage.

 

Additionally, the project, if approved, would impact a number of county roads. Cameron says it's important to receive a better idea on the impacted areas.

 

Other items of business at this week's meeting included updates from Road and Bridge Director Kary Tatum, County Clerk Kayla Busch, and Sheriff Pete Kuhn.
