A Missouri woman is arrested this week in connection to a fatal DWI crash that occurred near Carthage on Christmas Eve.
43-year-old Jennifer Maupin was also injured in the accident that claimed the life of 35-year-old Tou Xiong of Sarcoxie. The accident occurred on MO-59 just south of Carthage. Maupin initially refused to take a breathalyzer test, but after evaluation, she was arrested on Felony DWI charges and released to seek medical care.
Maupin was located in Marionville, MO, earlier this week and arrested. She was booked into the Lawrence County Jail in Mount Vernon, MO, on a $100,000 bond.
