A Sperry man is arrested after allegedly allowing three puppies freeze to death in his backyard.
Authorities in Tulsa County were called to the scene after a neighbor discovered the puppies along with their mother and three other living puppies. The neighbor took the living dogs home to warm them up and then called police. The owner of the dogs – identified as Troy Pierce – said he had last checked on the dogs the previous day. Police say the animals were left with only a dog house for shelter and nothing else to keep them warm.
The surviving dogs were taken into custody by Tulsa County Animal Control. Pierce was arrested for three counts of animal cruelty. He then bonded out of jail.
