A bill that would amend the Arkansas law regarding the sale of raw milk has passed the Arkansas State legislature.

 

The current law in Arkansas only allows for the purchase of raw milk directly from the producer. The new measure would expand that to include farmers' markets and via delivery from the farm where the milk is produced. The bill covers goat milk, sheep milk and cow milk.

 

The legislation will no go to the Governor's desk and, if signed, will become law.
