National FFA Week continues this week, and the state of Kansas is holding a Give FFA Day tomorrow.

 

The fundraiser has been put together by the Kansas FFA Foundation, and allows for various partners to help raise money for Kansas FFA, with the target amount $40,000. One of the donating partners is Mark Mayfield, a former National FFA President and Caney resident who now serves as a motivational speaker.

 

Mayfield says FFA has an impact on all types of people who get involved.

 

The challenge is for every dollar donated tomorrow by past state officers, Mayfield will match it up to $1,000. He says the growth of Kansas FFA requires more support now than ever.
