A convicted murderer is back in custody after Salina Police find two women dead in the driveway of a Salina home on Sunday night.
Police say the two women were both victims of homicide, though their names have not yet been released. Authorities have arrested 35-year-old Preston Reyna of Salina in connection to the case. Records from the Kansas Department of Corrections show that Reyna served time for second-degree murder in the 2009 beating death of Nicholas Chavez Castro. Reyna was released from prison in 2018 and his post-release supervision ended in 2020.
Reyna now faces charges of first-degree murder, aggravated domestic battery, aggravated kidnapping, and domestic violence.
