Multiple people are injured in a three-vehicle accident in Crawford County.

The accident occurred on US-69 about 1 ½ miles south of K-126 in Pittsburg. A 2015 Peterbilt driven by 47-year-old Sean Opalka of Kansas City was traveling northbound on US-69 when it rear-ended a 2012 Chevy Traverse driven by 38-year-old Jason Ewan of Joplin. The collision pushed Ewan's vehicle into the southbound lane where it struck a third vehicle, driven by 40-year-old Sarah Pitts of Girard. Both Ewan and Pitts sustained minor injuries in the accident and were treated at a nearby hospital. A 72-year-old male passenger in Pitts' vehicle also received minor injuries.

Opalka was uninjured in the accident.
