A 65-year-old man is dead following a weekend car accident near Jay in Delaware County.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says William Douglas lost consciousness as he was driving on Highway 20. He then crossed the center line and struck a Jeep Wrangler head-on. Douglas was declared dead at the scene while a passenger in his vehicle along the the 44-year-old driver of the Jeep and a 2-year-old girl were all taken to a nearby hospital for treatment for minor injuries.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
