A Saturday morning car accident on East Main Street in Parsons leads to the arrest of the driver on DUI charges.

The accident happened around 9am Saturday morning when a passenger car veered off the roadway and struck a power pole. The driver was the sole occupant of the car and was uninjured in the crash. He was taken into custody for a suspected DUI.
