A 27-year-old Quapaw man pleads guilty to having sexual relations with a minor.

 

Dylan Boyd entered the guilty plea to Abusive Sexual Contact with a Minor and Mission of a Felony Sex Offense Involving a Minor by a Registered Offender in return for prosecutors dropping charges of Aggravated Sexual Abuse by Threat or Force and Sexual Abuse of a Minor.

 

Court documents state that the Kansas Department for Children and Families contacted Quapaw police in July of 2022 after a juvenile reported to her therapist that she had been raped by someone she knew in November 2020. The documents go on to state that the incident occurred in Boyd’s mother’s trailer home.

 

Boyd could face a maximum of 13 years in prison for the offense.
