The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reports a Friday morning high-speed chase that began in Mayes County ends with a crash in Delaware County.

A lieutenant with the O-H-P had exited his vehicle and deployed stop sticks in the vehicle’s path. The suspect drove over the sticks and swerved hard before crashing into the Trooper’s truck head-on. The suspect was arrested. No law enforcement officers were injured. The status of the suspect is unknown.
