A Cherryvale man is injured after his vehicle strikes a tree in rural Labette County.
The accident occurred just after 9pm on Saturday as 34-year-old Zachary Butler was westbound on 20000 Road. His 2004 GMC Sierra left the roadway at the intersection with Harper Road, about 5 miles northeast of Mound Valley. Butler sustained minor injuries when his SUV struck a tree. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment.
