A Skiatook man faces a felony charge after defacing a VIN on a trailer.
40-year-old Brad Smalygo was charged with one count of removed, falsified or unauthorized identification. Smalygo was found in possession of a stolen trailer from Missouri. BPD located the trailer with a defaced VIN and found black spray paint applied around the area of the bumper pull. Smalygo was in possession of tools capable of defacing a VIN.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, Smalygo is a Tulsa County Sheriff's deputy. He will appear in court again on February 21st at 9:00am and his bond is set at $5,000.
