A former teacher in Rogers, Arkansas, is arrested for the second time in 2025 for alleged child sex crimes.

Deputies from the Benton County Sheriff's Office arrested 38-year-old Robert Beard on Tuesday. Beard was booked on 25 counts of sexually grooming a child and was given a $50,000 bond. Officers from the Rogers Police Department began investigating Beard in January after several former students of Beard came forward with allegations of grooming. All of the incidents are said to have occurred during the two years in which Beard was employed as a computer science teacher at the Arkansas Arts Academy. He was terminated from the position in July 2024

Beard was also arrested on January 24 by the Springdale Police Department for allegedly sexually assaulting a child.
