The snowfall totals are in from yesterday's snowstorm.
Overall, snowfall amounts were less than initially forecast, with most of Kansas seeing between 2 and 4 inches. In southeast Kansas and the Coffeyville area, 2 to 3 inches was observed. Chanute ended up with 1 to 2 inches, which was less than expected. The Wichita area received 3 to 4 inches, while it wasn't until Topeka that the totals pushed 4 to 6 inches. In Bartlesville, almost three inches of snow was reported, while up to ½ inch was reported further south and in southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.
