Kansas Governor Laura Kelly vetoes a bill that would have banned medical care in response to gender dysphoria.

Kansas Senate Bill 63, also known as the Help, Not Harm Act would have prohibited medical intervention such as the prescription of puberty blockers, hormones, and surgery for children. The bill also prohibited the use of state funds to promote gender transitioning. Kelly called the legislation divisive and and infringement on parental rights.
