Three Colorado residents are in custody in Hamilton County in western Kansas after a traffic stop reveals the presence of drugs.
A traffic stop in the City of Syracuse on Saturday evening led to the arrests of 60-year-old Tony Jiron and 39-year-old Ashley Romero, both of La Junta, CO, as well as 44-year-old William Dunagan of Lamar, CO. A K-9 search of the vehicle revealed 44 grams of methamphetamine, 33 grams of cocaine, more than 200 fentanyl pills, and over $5,000 in cash.
