The Osage County Commission discusses mobile shelving for the County Clerk's Office.
At this week's meeting, opening bids for mobile shelving for the new annex building were the main topic for debate.
There was one bid from Midwest Printing Company for nearly $180,000. The shelving would be used in the County Clerk's office and could have seen a reduction in price had the county used some of the shelving from the existing courthouse, but Dalton Higgins with Higgins Construction says he advises against using those shelves.
The commission voted to accept the bid. In other business, the Board renewed a contract with Eagleview Pictometry for just over $188,000 to assist the County Assessor's Office. There were also two utility permits signed.
