The South Coffeyville School Board decides to rehire the elementary school principal.

 

After last night's executive session, the decision was made to rehire Karla Bauer as principal and Federal Programs Director for the upcoming school year.

 

Superintendent Daryl Pruter says that Bauer is a good asset to the school.

 

In other business, the board approved a fundraiser for the baseball team and approved the continued use of accounting software. Pruter says they're also excited to be making some bathroom upgrades ahead of the upcoming basketball playoffs.

 

The board also discussed potential options for expanding the current gym, adding bleachers and some storm shelter options, although nothing was decided at the meeting.
