A local photographer hosts an introductory class for aspiring shutterbugs at the Coffeyville Public Library.
Over the weekend, SnapWild Photography hosted an Introduction to Photography course at the Coffeyville Public Library, providing attendees with insights into the art and science of photography.
Participants explored the fundamentals of camera operation, learned how aperture, shutter speed, and ISO work together to create images. The course also covered various image capture modes and how they influence the final photograph. A hands-on practice session allowed students to apply their new skills in real time reinforcing key concepts through practical experience. The workshop also encouraged attendees to move beyond automatic settings and take greater control of their photography through manual and semi-manual modes.
Due to the success of this session, SnapWild Photography plans to offer this course again in February 2026. In the meantime, additional educational opportunities will be available throughout the year.
